Colombia’s massive infrastructure investment includes 8,000km of new roads under construction, adapting the Magdalena River to the needs of larger vessels, and 117 projects to revamp the port at Barranquilla, the leading multipurpose port in the Colombian Caribbean.

With the capacity to unload 12,000 metric tons per day of bulk cargo at a rate of 500 metric tons per hour, this session will provide a fascinating insight into how dry and liquid bulk commodities are handled and stored with greater than ever efficiency.
