Panama Maritme Authority highlights participation in TOC Americas 2018

Jorge Barakat, maritime affairs minister and AMP manager, invites to enjoy the conference and the beauty of Panama

The minister of Maritme Affairs and manager of the Panama Maritime Authority, Jorge Barakat, during an exclusive interview with MundoMaritimo, highlighted the role the
organization will have in the 18th version of the TOC Americas conference, to be held in Panama City during November 13-15, where the highest industry executives will meet for the most important event for the maritime-port community in Latin America.

“We’d like to invite everyone to be part of TOC Americas this upcoming November. We aim to keep strengthening the bonds between operators, the maritime industry and the port logistics sector and keep emphasizing the need of constant improvement,” said minister Barakat.

“The training workshops will be very enlightning for all, as we are confident of the active participation of the regional and global industry,” he added.

The manager of AMP, organization that will take part in TOC Americas for the first time mentioned that “TOC is a platform of important technical knowledge within the
maritime and logistics industry. Those presenting will deliver relevant experiences for attendants, who will benefit from extensive know-how.” 

“We reiterate the inivtation to everyone to enjoy this academic experience, but also take the opportunity to share and enjoy the beauty of Panama.”
