As the CEO of DP World in Ecuador and Peru, Carlos Merino leverages over 20 years of experience in global logistics and port management to drive operational excellence and expand trade across Latin America. Prior to joining DP World, Carlos served as CEO of Terminales Portuarios Euroandinos (TPE) in Peru, served on the board of ZED Paita (Free Trade Zone Paita), and presided over the Asociacion Civil Fondo Social Terminal Portuario de Paita. His earlier career includes positions at Babcock & Brown and Neptunia S.A. Carlos holds an industrial engineering degree from Universidad Ricardo Palma, an MBA from Babson College, and executive education from Harvard Business School. Carlos’s career is marked by a profound commitment to improving logistics operations and fostering sustainable development in Latin America.

Sarah Mouriño is the Senior Director of Sustainability at DP World Americas, tasked with developing and implementing the company’s regional sustainability strategy in line with its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. With over 20 years of experience in freight sustainability and decarbonization, Mouriño is a leader in global sustainability initiatives. Her background spans both public and private sectors, with roles at SSA Marine, the International Maritime Organization, Maersk, and the Port of Seattle. Mouriño earned a BA in Environmental Planning and Policy from Western Washington University and an MA in Public Policy with a specialization in International Environmental and Maritime Affairs from the University of Washington.
